Josh Winfield makes music for the things we feel before we know how to say them — longing, obsession, imagined futures, almosts, and the strange memories we create for things that never happened.

Blending alternative pop with atmospheric rock, R&B, and cinematic production, his music lives somewhere between intimacy and scale: deeply personal songs built to feel much bigger than the room they were written in.

His debut single, The Yearning, began with a simple contradiction: missing something you never actually had. What started as an attempt to put an impossible feeling into words became the foundation for a larger creative world of music, photography, film, design, and storytelling.

At the center of it all is one idea:

“I’m homesick for a place I’ve never been.”
